Carapace is a real-time immersive audiovisual performance about the growth, ossification, and dissolution of the self told through unfolding algorithmic form in architectural spaces. Carapace premiered at the IX Symposium of Immersive & Experiential Media at the Society for Arts and Technology (SAT) in Montreal, and was also shown at EM15, the Mutek Electra Festival in Montreal, May 2014. Carapace was researched and created in residency at the Society for Art and Technology (SAT) – sat.qc.ca.
